Lunch with a view
We were here for lunch today had the best sea food lunches we have had in long time. The location is great, food was excellent and very reasonable. No wonder they were so busy with mix of locals and visitors. The service was very good and we will be back. Maeve M
Lovely sea food
Recently visited with friend, it’s not possible to book a table so you let your name then go next door to Joe Mays then await your call for your table , lovely buzzing atmosphere, great variety on the menu with a strong fish focus, food was served incredibly fast , staff were effi cient and friendly , portion sizes are perfect, nice for small groups. Best Cod in batter ever . . .
Over in Skerries doing a bit of work its a nice fi shing village north of Dublin with lots of nice places to eat from your traditional coffee shops to the “gastro pub” on this occasion we tried the “Stoop your head” ~ its right down on the Harbour a short walk from main street but worth the walk, sea food is excellent I had the Cod and mycolleague had the Hake, cod came with home made hand cut Chips which were yummy the hake was a bake and came with creamed potatoes both dishes were just out of this world ~ in one word Excellent if you find yourself in Skerries and any stage pay “stoop your head” a visit and mind you don’t bump your head! Best seafood restaurant
Stoops is one of the best restaurants you can visit in Skerries. The ambiance , food and staff are second to none. If you visit Stoops you will not be disappointed. People come from everywhere to eat in Stoops. The staff are special , they will give you a warm greeting and make you feel at home. Don’t miss it! Des W
Great food, great location
This was the second visit to Stoop and, as before the food was very good. As a non fish eater there was plenty of alternatives on the menu to choose from. Sapper501
The Perpetual Menu
We have been dining here for many years even though we live in Dublin 15. Every visit I promise to try a starter other than Seafood Chowder but i am always drawn back to my favourite and it’s consistently brilliant !! The menu never changes and it doesn’t need to. The clientèle of local regulars, day trippers and tourists squeeze in to the small dining area or are directed to have a drink in the nearby pub and be summoned when a table is available. This is The Class Act of Skerries !!! Noel H
Excellent food, service & setting
Absolutely no fl aws for this place. The food is very good value for money, service couldn’t be knocked and the setting on the harbour front is perfect for a cold beer on a cold Irish day. We’ve been here several times and would hands down say it’s the best restaurant/bar in Skerries. Also appears to be family friendly. Becky E
