The South Strand
Skerries South Strand is a long sandy beach approximately 2.5km long with low dunes behind the strandline. It is accessible along its length from the promenade that runs parallel to the beach which is perfect for a stroll.
Skerries Harbour
Stoop Your Head is situated on the only West facing harbour on the East coast of Ireland. So not only can you enjoy our delicious food, you have an amazing view and if you are lucky you can also enjoy some beautiful sunsets.
Shenick Island
Shenick Island is the largest of the 3 uninhabited islands off the Skerries coast and features the ruins of a Martello Tower. The island is easily accessible on foot at very low Spring tides. If you’re planning to visit, check the tides and the weather as the tide turns very quickly and you can get stuck on the Island.
Skerries Mills
Skerries Mills is a unique collection windmills located in Skerries. It comprises of three national monuments which are two strikingly different Sail Mills and a Watermill of the 13th century. You can do a guided tour of the mills and have a stroll around the craft shop.
